The booth, the floor and the hour when they stop being two different places. Hands on a mixer, a face lit from below by a VU meter, a crowd that has given up on the idea of the front. Club culture is the quietest kind of music photography to make and the hardest: no stage, no lighting rig pointed at the performer, just whatever the room leaks and a lens that can hold it.
This thread runs through the rest of the site. Some of it was shot in clubs, some in the tents and after-dark corners of festivals where the same people play to the same floor, and some of it was commissioned. It gathers here as one body, newest first.
